IMPORTANT SAFETY NOTICE — PLEASE READ CAREFULLY

Motorsport is an inherently dangerous activity. High-speed racing vehicles present serious risks to participants, crew, officials, and spectators alike. By attending any event organised, promoted, or associated with EX Lancer Motorsport, you acknowledge and accept the following:

  • Motorsport involves vehicles travelling at high speed. Accidents, mechanical failures, and loss of vehicle control can and do occur, even with the highest safety standards in place.
  • There is a risk of cars, debris, tyres, or other materials leaving the stage route and entering spectator areas. No barrier or fence can guarantee complete protection.
  • Loud noise at motorsport events may cause hearing damage. Appropriate hearing protection is strongly recommended, particularly for children.
  • You must remain behind all designated spectator barriers, ropes, fences, and safety zones at all times. Crossing into restricted or stage-side areas is strictly prohibited.
  • You must follow all directions given by event marshals, safety officials, and organisers immediately and without question. In the event of an incident, follow marshal instructions even if this conflicts with your desire to watch or photograph the action.
  • Children must remain under the direct supervision of a responsible adult at all times. Children must not be permitted to approach the stage boundary or run unsupervised.
  • Alcohol may impair your judgement in an emergency. Excessive consumption of alcohol at events is strongly discouraged.
  • Attendance at motorsport events is at your own risk. You release EX Lancer Motorsport, its drivers, team members, officials, venue owners, and associated parties from any liability for injury, death, or property damage arising from your attendance, to the fullest extent permitted by New Zealand law.

If you are unsure of the safe areas at any event, ask a marshal before proceeding. Your safety is the priority.

3. Participant Acknowledgement

If you are a driver, co-driver, crew member, or official participating in an event associated with EX Lancer Motorsport, you acknowledge that motorsport involves inherent risk of serious injury or death. All participants are responsible for ensuring they hold the appropriate Motorsport New Zealand (MotorsportNZ) licences, that their vehicles comply with applicable regulations, and that they have adequate personal insurance coverage.

EX Lancer Motorsport does not organise or sanction individual rally events; we document and promote our competitive activities. All event safety requirements are governed by the event organiser and MotorsportNZ regulations.

4. Intellectual Property

All content on this website — including text, photographs, videos, graphics, the EX Lancer Motorsport name and logo — is owned by or licensed to EX Lancer Motorsport and is protected by New Zealand and international copyright law.

You may share links to our content and may reproduce small excerpts for non-commercial commentary or news reporting, provided you attribute EX Lancer Motorsport and link back to the original page. Any other reproduction, modification, or commercial use requires our prior written consent.

5. Photography and Media at Events

By attending an EX Lancer Motorsport event, you consent to being photographed or filmed as part of general event coverage. Such media may be used by EX Lancer Motorsport for promotional purposes including social media, press releases, and this website. If you do not wish to appear in promotional media, please notify an event official on arrival.
